We also offer bike set ups:
Static Bike Fit - £40
Whilst sat on your bike on a turbo trainer we will measure your leg angles in order to adjust your saddle height, fore and aft as well as handlebar height. This makes riding your bike more comfortable and efficient as well as determining the right frame size for you. (this service is free with all bikes purchased from us)
Digital Bike set up - £80
We also offer a digital bike set up using the latest in motion capture technology.
This service helps you get the most out of your body and your bike by allowing us to accurately measure your leg, body, arm and wrist angles as well as knee positioning by using Quintec Motion capture as used by the GB Cycling team , By adjusting your bike specifically to your body geometry you will get the most power and comfort out of your rides.
In order to carry out a proper fitting we need to be able to fully assess your riding position and pedalling motion, so it is advisable to wear your cycle shorts and a cycling or tight jersey, this makes it much easier to measure your leg angles and extension and knee tracking more accurately, and to be able to observe pedalling technique.
If you use cleated pedals you must bring these with you. We take into account your individual needs so things like body proportions, flexibility, riding style, weight, fitness and of course the type of riding you do. Digital set up`s take about 1 to 2 hours, but dont worry we do have an excellent coffee machine!
